ASTRA Net

Many of the members of The Malay Amateur Radio Society of Northern Peninsular Malaysia meet to discuss society activities and other ham-related issues on the weekly ASTRA Net. Look for us on the Society's repeater system on 147.675 MHz (9MX243) long range linked with 147.775 MHz (9MX244) and relay by Repeaters 9WO433, 9WG317, 9WG318, 9WO408, 9MX485, 9WO429, 9MN360, 9WV347, 9WV338, 9MN359 and 9WV714, every Friday night at 21:00 (local time). We welcome all who hears the ASTRA Net to check-in !

Each week we will be passing the Net Control to different people in order to get some experienced net controllers. If you've never acted as a Net Control Station, this is an ideal way to improve your on-air operating skills. Plus, it's great practice and a lot of fun. It is possible that there may be two net controllers on any given net! (One in the north and one in the south!). Our Net Coordinator/ Manager, can tell you more about it. Upcoming net control stations. All logs will be checked by the Net Coordinator/ Manager.
